Alcohol Rules
In the interest of safety, reducing waste and protecting our environment, Leigh Folk Festival is a glass-free zone, with all bars serving either disposable or hard plastics. All festival bars will refill the official Leigh Folk Festival pint glass, which you can purchase at the festival.
Members of the public are strongly discouraged from bringing any alcohol in glass and may be subject to search upon entry. There will be glass amnesty points, and opportunities to decant into plastics at an additional charge.
Attendees are not permitted to bring alcohol inside the Fishermen’s Chapel or St Clements Church, please respect the venue rules. St Clements Church will have a paid bar for evening ticketed concerts
Leave No Trace
Whilst there is a plethora of on-site food and drink establishments, which are carefully curated by the festival, you are able to bring your own food and drink on-site (see alcohol rules). We ask that should you choose to bring anything with you, please take it away, bin it and leave no trace. It makes it easier for our volunteers to clear up, and ensures nothing is left behind that could harm the environment.
