Applications Now Open for Leigh Folk Festival’s ANNUAL Open Mic Competition!

The Leigh Folk Festival Open Mic Competition will once again take place this year.

Run by Chris Robson with 14 performers from a variety of musical backgrounds, each one will try to make it through to the final 4, with one lucky performer crowned Leigh Folk Festival Open Mic Competition Winner 2025!

Open to anyone wanting to perform that isn’t already booked to play at the festival.
Performers need 2 songs (Originals/Covers) for the first stages and 1 song if progressing to the final.

The overall winner will receive a slot on one of our Festival Stages on Sunday 29 June.
