Waterflower

Bio

Waterflower is an audio visual project by Latvian artist Sabine Moore. Collected sound is merged with live performance, creating a musical collage of toy sounds, running water, glass beads, calculator beeps, electronic beats, ghostly piano melodies, ethereal violin and sublime vocalisations to create unique song forms. The music is both meditative and playful, drawing on influences from the rich tradition of Latvian folk songs whilst employing elements of modern pop. The performance is enriched with real-time VJing and a “live plant” as a midi controller/synthesizer.
