Disabled Access

Disabled access is dependent on facilities at individual venues. Leigh Library Gardens is mainly grass underfoot, however does have a series of pavements within it. Lower Library Gardens is only accessible for disabled users via Leigh Park Road (and please note the ground underfoot is uneven).

Old Leigh contains cobbled streets, and on Sunday 24th June is closed to any vehicle movements, we do provide disabled parking on Sunday 24th June on Belton Bridge (please show your blue badge upon arrival at the road closure), and there are smooth pavements to allow for easy access.

Please see our list below for individual indoor venue disabled access:

St Clements Church – Easy Access
Squeeze Café – Events take place upstairs, with no lift access. There is a bar on the ground floor.
Crooked Billet – Moderate access via side entrance.
The Smack – Moderate to easy access.
The Mayflower – Easy Access
Clarendon Scout Hut – Difficult Access, a flight of stairs takes you up to the venue.
